FSUE “Rosmorport” is a strategic system-forming institution which provides necessary conditions for safe navigation in 59 of the 63 seaports of the country and on the approaches to them on a permanent basis.

The enterprise organizes the operation of 24 vessel traffic management systems (VTS) in areas with the most intensive shipping, manages the country's largest pilotage service that ensures safe passage of the fleet in water areas difficult for navigation. 600 highly qualified pilots of the enterprise performed 168 thousand pilotage operations in 2022.

FSUE “Rosmorport” is the Russia's largest titular owner of coastal and port infrastructure facilities. The total length of the berthing port facilities managed by the enterprise is more than 90 km.

The icebreaking fleet is the real pride and competitive advantage of the enterprise, as well as of the entire maritime industry of Russia. FSUE “Rosmorport” is the operator of the world's largest icebreaking group. It now includes 35 icebreakers of various classes, including the flagship of the enterprise's fleet – the world's most powerful non-nuclear icebreaker, Viktor Chernomyrdin. The model of the icebreaker is presented at the exhibition.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” icebreaking fleet provides ice pilotage of vessels in all 16 freezing seaports of Russia and on approaches to them, and also provides icebreaking assistance for navigation of vessels in ice, including in the waters of the Northern Sea Route. Among the important achievements of the enterprise, there are the country's first innovative eco-ferries Marshal Rokossovsky and General Chernyakhovsky, capable of operating on LNG and low-sulfur diesel fuel. Both 200-meter giants built by the FSUE “Rosmorport” order operates on the “Ust-Luga Seaport - Kaliningrad Seaport” ferry line, ensuring transport accessibility of the Kaliningrad region and its connection with the rest of the country. Models of ferries and an impressive video about their trials and work are another key theme of the exhibition.

Having the largest dredging fleet in the country, FSUE “Rosmorport” annually provides dredging from the bottom of reservoirs to achieve the navigation parameters of port waters.

Currently, the enterprise is conducting an unprecedented operation in the history of the country on the development of the 188-kilometer Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal (VCSSC) as part of the global task of ensuring the operation of the North – South international transport corridor.

Along with the organization of round-the-clock operation of a group of 17 dredgers, the enterprise builds protective structures on the sites of the VCSSC that are subject to the greatest drift.
