Employees of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Eastern Basin Branch have taken part in the campaign “ROSMORPORT – 20 years in the right direction!” installing flags with the anniversary symbols of the enterprise on various outstanding geographical sites in the Khabarovsk Territory, Magadan Region and Chukotka.

The first journey during the campaign was to Sovetskaya Hill, the highest point of the Sovetsky Ridge. Its height reaches 560 m. Together with their families, a group of FSUE “Rosmorport” employees in branded equipment left the branch building in a staff vehicle to the foot of the hill.

Climbing up and down the hill was challenging – it was 30-degree heat outside. Only the climbing was 4.4 km long. A flag with the jubilee symbols of FSUE “Rosmorport” was installed on the top of the hill, which offers a panoramic view of the bay and the city of Sovetskaya Gavan.

The campaign also took place in Magadan and Anadyr departments of the North-Eastern Basin Branch. In the area of Magadan, the flag with the jubilee symbols of the enterprise was installed on the top of Marchekanskaya Hill rising above the city - the highest point of Staritsky Peninsula in the north of the Tauyskaya Bay in the Sea of Okhotsk.

Employees of the Anadyr Department installed the jubilee flag on the navigation lighthouse on Alumka Island, which is located in the Pacific Ocean, at the top of the Anadyr estuary of the Bering Sea.

The travelers' route started from the administrative building of the department. The participants covered a distance from berth No. 7 in the seaport of Anadyr to Alumka Island in a motorboat, passing about 4 nautical miles. The climb was not easy, regarding large boulders and flocks of soaring seagulls. Still, having reached the final point of the route, the employees of the Anadyr department with honor installed the flag of the enterprise.

The “ROSMORPORT – 20 years in the right direction!” campaign has already been held in Makhachkala and Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin branches. The event is aimed at showing the wide geography of the largest title holder of coastal and port infrastructure facilities and service and auxiliary fleet - from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The campaign, which unites employees from different regions of the country, becomes another confirmation of the key role of FSUE “Rosmorport” in ensuring navigation safety in the waters of 59 out of 63 Russian seaports and on approaches to them, and also contributes to the popularization of domestic tourism and the rise of patriotic feelings.
