Dagestan hold the first event on the solemn installation of flags in honor of the 20th anniversary of FSUE “Rosmorport” as part of the event “ROSMORPORT - 20 years in the right direction!”. The event is holding in the enterprise’s jubilee year in the regions of its branches’ operation.

20 employees of the Makhachkala Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport” took part in the event. The branch is also celebrates the 10th anniversary of the beginning of its production activities in 2023.

On the event day, employees dressed in branded outfits all went together to the Sulak Canyon – the deepest one in Russia and Europe, and one of the deepest on Earth. The participants of the campaign installed the flag of the Russian Federation and the flag with the anniversary symbols of FSUE "Rosmorport" on the point of the Sulak River valley with a panoramic view. Photo and video shooting was carried out throughout the event. Employees captured the process of installing flags on the background of a unique landscape object. In total, they overcame the way in 200 km.

Manolis Fulov, Deputy Director for Capital Construction and Repairs of the Makhachkala Branch, and Ivan Galchenko, Deputy Director for Security of the Makhachkala Branch, who participated in the event, gave words of severance to the team at the venue of the event.

The canyon in the Sulak River valley near the village of Dubki is one of the most famous landmarks of the Republic of Dagestan. Its depth reaches 1,920 m, its length is 53 km. Thousands of tourists from all over the world visit the canyon every year.

Subsequently, the event “ROSMORPORT – 20 years in the right direction!” will be supported by other branches of the enterprise. The event not only reflects the large-scale geography of the activities of the largest title holder of coastal and port infrastructure facilities and service and auxiliary fleet - from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, but also becomes another confirmation of the key role of FSUE “Rosmorport” in ensuring the navigation safety in the waters of 59 out of 63 seaports of the country and on the approaches to them.
