FSUE “Rosmorport” strengthened the dredging group at VCSSC to 16 dredgers

The pipeline non-propelled dredge pump Severo-Dvinsky-701 has started work on the designated area of the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal. This dredger has strengthened the grouping of the dredging fleet involved in the development of the canal under the control of FSUE “Rosmorport”, to 16 units.

Today, there are 7 units of the dredging fleet of FSUE “Rosmorport” and 9 vessels involved by the enterprise which are providing maintenance of the necessary depths at the sites of the VCSSC.

The implementation of comprehensive measures for the development of VCSSC as part of the global task of ensuring the operation of the international North-South transport corridor is carried out by FSUE “Rosmorport” according to the schedule. The company plans to continue increasing the number of vessels involved in repair dredging on the canal.
