On June 23, in view of the Day of the Seafarer, which is celebrated each year on June 25, a festive event was held for children of the FSUE “Rosmorport” central office employees in Sokolniki Park, Moscow, with professional animators. The event was organized in the anniversary year for the enterprise in order to encourage children for their creative achievements and artistic talent, demonstrated in the drawing contest dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the FSUE “Rosmorport” successful activity.

During the event, children competed in tug-of-war, caught sea jellyfish, tried their hand at pirate trials, ring toss, and relay skiing. After the active marine animation program, the children attended a workshop in baseball cap painting. Participants drew sea creatures on their caps with special paints. Everyone did a great job with the creative task - the children took their hand-decorated baseball caps with them.

The event ended with a solemn ceremony of awarding the participants of the drawing contest with diplomas and gifts with FSUE “Rosmorport” anniversary symbols. The children were given desk calendars with images of all the contestants' drawings, canvas bags and water bottles.

On June 1, on the Children's Day, an exhibition of children's drawings was opened in the FSUE “Rosmorport” central office lobby. The exhibition features the most striking and memorable works of the contestants. All in all, 135 children and grandchildren of FSUE “Rosmorport” employees took part in the contest. The kids were to invent their own version of the FSUE “Rosmorport” anniversary logo, to give their thoughts on “When I grow up, I'll become a sailor!” theme or to draw a picture “Through the ice onboard an icebreaker”.
