FSUE “Rosmorport”, the backbone enterprise of the port industry, celebrates its 20th anniversary today. Recall that FSUE “Rosmorport” was established on May 15, 2003 on the basis of decree of the Government of the Russian Federation in order to promote the development of maritime transport infrastructure, to realize its transit potential and to improve the competitiveness of domestic seaports.

Sergey Pylin, General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport”, gave his welcoming remarks on the 20th anniversary of the successful operation of the federal state unitary enterprise for the benefit of the country's maritime industry.

"Dear colleagues!

I sincerely congratulate the staff and veterans of FSUE “Rosmorport” on the 20th anniversary of the enterprise establishment, and also express my gratitude to the partners for the high appreciation of its activities and the attention shown to FSUE “Rosmorport” on this day!

While celebrating this significant event, we have the right to be proud of the results of two decades of our work. FSUE “Rosmorport” has firmly taken its leading position in the Russian maritime industry for a short period of time for water transport.

The enterprise continuously provides the necessary conditions for safe navigation in the water areas of 58 of the 62 seaports of the country and on the approaches to them for hundreds of thousands of Russian and foreign vessels.

Today, FSUE “Rosmorport” employs almost nine thousand employees from various regions of our country. We are known as a reliable, efficient, dynamically developing enterprise. Our mission and our great responsibility is to ensure uninterrupted and safe navigation, and it requires the highest competence and dedication. We set ambitious goals for ourselves, consistently achieving exceptionally high results.

Thanks to the joint efforts and knowledge of the business, as well as the incredible enthusiasm and passion of all employees of FSUE “Rosmorport” – those who works in the central administration and branches, in offices, in the fleet and onshore facilities – during 20 years of operation the enterprise has implemented major port infrastructure development projects that are strategically important for Russia's logistics security and economic growth.

As the owner of the largest dredging fleet in the country, we have provided dredging operations to achieve the navigation parameters of the seaports water areas. We managed to carry out the construction of unique hydraulic structures and navigation safety facilities, introducing new technological solutions at all stages of work, to form our own modern service and auxiliary fleet - the total number of vessels under the jurisdiction of the enterprise today is almost three hundred. We are the only company in the country that has implemented a project for the construction of two innovative automobile and railway eco-parks capable of running on both LNG and diesel fuel with a low sulfur content to ensure transport accessibility of the Kaliningrad region. Our special pride is the country's largest icebreaking flotilla of FSUE “Rosmorport”, which annually performs thousands of operations in the ice.

Today, on the day of the 20th anniversary of the enterprise, I sincerely express my gratitude to you, dear colleagues, for your conscientious work, willingness to take on difficult tasks and achieve our common goals for the benefit of the marine industry. I wish you further professional victories, joy and satisfaction from the work to which you give your time and energy.
