FSUE "Rosmorport" has completed the construction of floating berth No. 9 for the reception and maintenance of sea and river passenger vessels in the seaport of Taganrog.

As part of a business trip to inspect the readiness of the seaport to receive passenger vessels, the facility was visited by First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Andrey Yatskin, Head of Rosmorrechflot Zakhary Dzhioev, Deputy General Director for Capital Construction of FSUE "Rosmorport" Vladimir Abornev.

Currently, the contractor has completed the assembly and installation of 8 sections of the framework of the floating berth, bollards, wooden covering and fencing of the berth. The berth is 96 m long and 16 m wide.

Construction works are carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko on the need to create infrastructure for servicing sea and river passenger vessels in the seaport of Taganrog.

In the near future, FSUE "Rosmorport" plans to carry out repair dredging of the seaport water area to ensure the approach and mooring of passenger vessels at berth No. 9.

After completion of the works, the floating berth in the seaport of Taganrog will be able to receive passenger vessels up to 141 m long, which will have a positive impact on the tourist attractiveness and development of the region.
