Sparta and Sparta II vessels begin transportation from the seaport of Kaliningrad to the seaport Big Port of Saint Petersburg

From November 29, 2022, in order to advance possibilities of efficient delivery of goods to the Kaliningrad Region, the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch begins to carry out transportation to the optional seaport Big Port of Saint Petersburg on the Seaport of Ust-Luga – Seaport of Kaliningrad line using two chartered multifunctional vessels Sparta and Sparta II.

Sparta and Sparta II multifunctional vessels will be handled at berth No. 82 or berth No. 83 of the Baltic Cargo Area in the seaport of Kaliningrad and at berth No. 60 in the seaport Big Port of Saint Petersburg.

Each vessel is planned to carry out one voyage per week with a call at the seaport Big Port of Saint Petersburg.

While operating on the Seaport of Ust-Luga – Seaport of Kaliningrad line, the multifunctional vessels Sparta and Sparta II have transported more than 3 thousand TEU, 198 units of rolling equipment and over 1.3 thousand tons of metal (large diameter metal pipes and rolled metal).
