FSUE “Rosmorport” took part in the events of the Maritime Congress

FSUE “Rosmorport” became a participant of the I All-Russian Maritime Congress, which was held in Moscow on October 3-4, 2022. The delegation of FSUE “Rosmorport” at this event was headed by Deputy General Director for Fleet Vasily Strugov. More than 80 representatives of the central office and 14 branches of the enterprise were among the participants.

On October 3, representatives of FSUE “Rosmorport” took part in the following events of the congress: the working session “Ship Repairing and Maintenance of the Fleet in Russia: Move Beyond Words to Deeds”, the strategic session “The Northern Sea Route: Keeping Moving Through the Ice”, the international business dialogue “Russia – China”. Deputy General Director for economics and finance of FSUE “Rosmorport” Yakov Bykov participated in the strategic session “Russian Ports in the Global Transport Services Market: Overcoming Constraints”, making a report on the prospects for the development of the country’s maritime port infrastructure.

On the sidelines of the congress, an official ceremony was held to sign a cooperation agreement between FSUE “Rosmorport” and NEVA-International LLC, the organizer of the NEVA International Exhibition, the TRANSTEC forum and the All–Russian Maritime Congress. The signatories were Vasily Strugov, Deputy General Director for Fleet of FSUE “Rosmorport”, and Aleksandr Ulianov, General Director of NEVA-International LLC.

Vasily Strugov, following the signing ceremony, expressed gratitude to NEVA-International for many years of fruitful cooperation in organizing and conducting events aimed at developing advanced solutions and implementing promising projects in the marine industry.

“FSUE “Rosmorport” considers joint work with NEVA-International LLC to be highly important for the entire maritime industry. I am convinced that the signed agreement will contribute to the formation of new business contacts in the industry and will serve as a basis for ensuring the technological independence of our country and the continuous development of its maritime potential,” Vasily Strugov said.

In addition to organizing industry events, the agreement provides for monitoring the implementation of national projects in the field of shipbuilding and shipping, ecology, modernization of port infrastructure, as well as the exchange of industry information, mutual expert, consulting, and information support.

During the second day of the congress, on October 4, FSUE “Rosmorport” took part in a number of other events: a business breakfast of the Marine Instrumentation Corporation, the strategic session “International Cooperation in the Field of Shipbuilding and Shipping: Promising Directions. Formation of New Partnerships and Supply Chains”, the seminar of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, as well as the working session “Shipping in a New Technological Reality”.

Besides, an internal production meeting of FSUE “Rosmorport” was held at the congress site, chaired by Vasily Strugov, with the managers responsible for organizing the operation of the enterprise's fleet.

At the working meeting, the results of the branch’s activities concerning fleet repair and operation in the first half of 2022 were summed up. During the meeting, issues of ensuring the readiness of the FSUE “Rosmorport” icebreaking fleet for the upcoming ice navigation season and plans for the development of the enterprise's fleet for 2022-2023 were also worked out.
