The Nadezhda sailing training boat of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch took part in the Parade of Sails, which started on September 4, 2022 in the Amur Bay of Vladivostok as part of the VII Eastern Economic Forum opening ceremony.

Special event was held at berth No. 30 in the seaport of Vladivostok – the starting point of the vessel's route. It was attended by representatives of the branch, the Vladivostok Duma, the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoy, as well as by residents and guests of the city who had the opportunity to enjoy music performed by the orchestra of the Far Eastern Basin Branch and fascinating views of the solemn unmooring of the sailboat.

After leaving the Golden Horn Bay, the sails were set on the Nadezhda sailboat in the Bosphorus Vostochny Strait with the help of cadets of the Amur Branch of the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoy, who are currently honing their practical skills on board the frigate.

During the parade, the sailboat made several laps in the Amur Bay in accordance with the previously planned program, which was discussed at the briefing of captains.

Besides the Nadezhda sailboat, the Pallada sailing vessel took part in the Parade of Sails, as well as more than 140 sailing yachts of different classes, including cruising ones.
