As part of the partnership, FSUE “Rosmorport” presented the "Stormovoy" with inventory and equipment for use by the children of the camp in the course of learning the basics of maritime affairs.

In order for the participants of the "Towards New Horizons" program to master the rigging and knitting techniques of various marine knots within the framework of the "Academy of Maritime Professions", FSUE “Rosmorport” donated 400 meters of braided halyard to the children's camp.

The children use marine binoculars for training in the courses "Marine ecologist" and "Young Lifeguard". With the help of new guitars, the children get acquainted with the song culture of the "Orlyonok": musical events are often held in the camp, and daily evening gatherings begin and end with the performance of "Orlyonok" songs. On the new drums, the participants of the seventh thematic shift will master the art of drumming as part of the course of the "Drum Squad" program for performing marches at morning and evening formations, as well as solemn events.

To prepare dance numbers and creative performances at the key events of the shift – a master class in acting and public speaking, a gala ball, a formation and song contest "Crew is family", a creative evening "Stormovoy" – the flagship of your summer" – FSUE “Rosmorport” presented portable speakers to the "Stormovoy" camp.

According to a good tradition, for all participants of the "Stormovoy" FSUE “Rosmorport” also made branded polos for children to attend classes of marine, artistic, physical culture and recreation, and tourism and local history orientation.

"For the children's camp "Stormovoy" this is a serious replenishment of the material base. Now every child can get acquainted with the song culture of the "Orlyonok" and the children really have a request for this. Among the participants of the seventh shift, many know how to play the guitar and are already learning "Orlyonok" songs on guitars, which were presented by FSUE "Rosmorport". Thanks to the new portable speakers with good sound, an atmosphere of interesting and kind music always reigns in our crews. Binoculars help the guys who are engaged in the "Council of Ecologists" to watch and observe the flora and fauna and, of course, the vessels passing at the very edge of the sea," said Bogdan Kucherenko, head of the "Stormovoy" camp of the "Orlyonok" Center.

The inventory will serve the camp even after the end of the "Towards New Horizons" program — the equipment has been transferred for year-round use by participants of thematic shifts.

Two years earlier, the marine auditorium of FSUE “Rosmorport” was opened in the children's camp "Stormovoy" for training participants of specialized sea shifts, equipped with weather stations, high-performance monoblocks, plasma panel and action cameras.

In the marine auditorium, teenagers in the framework of the courses "Young Meteorologist", "Ecology of the port", "Port Engineering" monitor the meteorological situation, including before going to sea, create and broadcast their own weather forecasts, news about shift events, shoot and edit short videos on the topic of ecology.
