The icebreaking fleet of FSUE “Rosmorport” has completed the period of icebreaker assistance to vessels in 15 freezing ports of the Russian Federation.

Ice restrictions in the waters of the White Sea will be lifted from May 14, 2022. In total, during the period of ice navigation, FSUE “Rosmorport” provided icebreaking support to 500 vessels in the seaports of Arkhangelsk, Kandalaksha and on the approaches to them.

The icebreakers Dixon, Tor, Kapitan Chadaev and Kapitan Evdokimov of the Arkhangelsk branch of the enterprise provided uninterrupted navigation and accessibility of seaports in water area of the White Sea.

In addition, from March 11 to March 16, 2022, icebreaking assistance in the waters of the White Sea was carried out by the icebreaker of the Murmansk branch Kapitan Dranitsyn.
