Onega Shipyard laid down the keel of the seventh crab carrier for the Russian Crab Group

At Onega Shipyard the keel of the seventh crab carrier of the 5712 LS project series was laid down. The vessel is under construction by order of the largest Far Eastern crab fishery company "Russian Crab". The construction is carried out within the framework of the investment quota program.

The lead vessel of the series was laid down in June 2020 and launched in January 2022. To date, all seven vessels in the series are at various stages of construction.

Main technical characteristics of the crab carrier of the project 5712 LS: length - 57.70 m, width - 12.60 m, autonomy - 40 days, speed of a full course - 12.6 knots, capacity on live crab - 110-120 tons.
