On the eve of the International Women's Day FSUE "Rosmorport" took part in the project of the newspaper "Transport of Russia" "Women of Russia in the transport complex".

Information about the employees of the central office and branches of the enterprise was published in a special appendix to the newspaper – "Transport Bulletin".

The project illustrates the diversity of maritime professions represented at the enterprise - it tells about the role of female executives in the key achievements of FSUE "Rosmorport", about rare and difficult specialties related to transport safety, in which female employees have excelled, about female professionals working at sea and going out for long voyages.

The special issue will be distributed through mailings with the newspaper and will also be presented at major industry events this year. The total circulation will be about 22 thousand copies.

As part of the project, an exhibition dedicated to the women of the company was organized in the the FSUE "Rosmorport" central office.

Today, the company's staff consists of more than 8 thousand employees, including almost 1.6 thousand women, 1.4 thousand of whom are employed in the branches of FSUE "Rosmorport": about 180 are in the crew, more than 70 work at the facilities of the vessel traffic control system (VTS), the global Maritime Disaster Communication System (GMDSS), as well as in the subdivisions of technical monitoring of the port water area.
