FSUE “Rosmorport” takes part in the Ushakov Talk

FSUE “Rosmorport” took part in the Ushakov Talk dedicated to the anniversary of the great Russian naval commander Fyodor Ushakov.

Sergey Dadyka, Adviser to the Deputy General Director for Fleet, represented the enterprise this year.

The talk, which took place on February 24, 2022 in Moscow, was attended by representatives of the Russian Navy, sea and river fleets, universities, schools and public organizations. During the event, the participants laid flowers at the monument to Fyodor Ushakov and attended a prayer service in memory of the admiral in the church of the Holy Righteous Warrior Fyodor Ushakov.

The Ushakov Talk, held in the conference hall of the church, was devoted to the outstanding service of Fyodor Ushakov for the benefit of Russia and to the modern patriotic education issues, including the value of the naval and spiritual legacy of Admiral Ushakov for the formation of the personality of our contemporaries.

The Russian Navy Support Movement, organizer of the event, has been working systematically on patriotic education of Russian citizens on worthy examples of the great people of the Motherland since the early nineties.

Fyodor Fyodorovich Ushakov (1745–1817) is a great Russian naval captain, commander of the Black Sea Fleet (1790–1798) and the United Mediterranean Squadron (1798–1790). He became known in history as the admiral who hadn’t lost a single battle.

The Russian Navy Support Movement has been organizing events dedicated to Fyodor Ushakov at his anniversary in various formats since 1994 in all regions of Russia.
