FSUE "Rosmorport" acted as the general partner of the V International Congress "Hydraulic Engineering Structures and Dredging", which is held on February 16-17, 2022 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The event was organized by the PortNews Information and Analytical Agency.

The enterprise, as a partner of the congress, provided advertising and souvenir products and information content, which were included in the participant's portfolio. Especially for the event FSUE "Rosmorport" prepared a notebook with information about the dredging activities of the enterprise.

Denis Viznarovsky, Head of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Capital Construction and Repair Department, made a report on the dredging and infrastructure projects implemented in 2021 and planned for the period up to 2024 on the first day of the congress.

Thus, for the year 2021, the capacity of Russian seaports increased by about 19 million tons. This result was achieved through the commissioning of federal property facilities at the seaport of Pevek, reconstructed on the initiative of FSUE "Rosmorport", hydraulic engineering structures at the seaport of Vostochny (SK Maly Port LLC), port infrastructure facilities at the seaport of Ust-Luga (Ultramar LLC), the grain terminal of KSK JSC at the seaport of Novorossiysk, port infrastructure facilities at the seaport of Temryuk.

The Comprehensive Plan for the Modernization and Expansion of the Main Infrastructure until 2024 includes construction and reconstruction of ports and terminals, formation of water areas in the seaports of Kaliningrad, Ust-Luga, Big Port of Saint Petersburg, Murmansk, Vanino, Vostochny, Vladivostok, Novorossiysk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Taman. The total volume of dredging works during the implementation of these projects will be about 60 million cubic meters of soil.

In 2021, FSUE "Rosmorport" provided navigation parameters for water areas and approach channels at 49 facilities in 18 Russian seaports, performing dredging in the amount of 7.6 million cubic meters. Almost half of the total volume of work (4.2 million cubic meters) was carried out on the Volga-Caspian Marine Shipping Canal.

According to preliminary plans, the volume of repair dredging of FSUE "Rosmorport" in 2022 will be about 11.1 million cubic meters. 8 vessels of the dredging fleet of the enterprise are already involved into operations.

The enterprise's fleet currently consists of 267 vessels, 40 of which are part of the dredging fleet. The share of works performed by the FSUE "Rosmorport" dredging equipment in the total volume of repair dredging remains at a high level and amounted to 89 % in 2021.

Dredging is carried out by the enterprise in accordance with design documentation, which in due course passes state environmental expertise.

Dredging is accompanied by obligatory measures of industrial environmental control. In 2021, to compensate for the damage to aquatic bioresources, the enterprise released 19.1 million pieces of young fish at a cost of 134.4 million rubles.
