Thematic shift of FSUE "Rosmorport" "To the dream under sails" opens in the ICC "Artek"

On May 19, the partnership shift of FSUE "Rosmorport" "To the dream under sails" was solemnly opened in the ICC "Artek". Thirty-two winners of the All-Russian competition "My Port" arrived at the camp to get acquainted with the maritime industry: to learn about the prospects for the development of the maritime industry, to identify possible directions for their future profession, to get acquainted with key competencies that will prove useful in the industry in the near future, and to form basic skills related to maritime affairs.

"The Children's Naval Flotilla has been operating in ICC "Artek" for more than 30 years. During this time, more than 20 thousand children from around the world mastered the semaphore alphabet, tied knots, learned to love the sea," – that was how Yuri Krasilovsky, head of the Children's Naval Flotilla, welcomed the new shift. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of working with FSUE "Rosmorport" and thanked the enterprise for long fruitful cooperation.

All children received branded equipment of FSUE "Rosmorport" and working notebooks designed specifically for the participants in the shift "To the dream under sails".

At the ceremony of the Children's Naval Flotilla, brochures prepared this year, which are collections of articles intended to provide help for the teacher-organizer of the maritime team, were also presented.

Participants of the shift were offered to sign up for the following courses: specialized modules, which allow them to study a new topic for themselves: "Innovative shipbuilding", "Entertaining navigation", "Young meteorologist", "Depth sounder", "Data transfer with the use of Morse alphabet", and "Event organization".

For three weeks, the specialized units of FSUE "Rosmorport" will undergo an intense study program. The technical creativity of the children will be resulted in ready-made models of radio-controlled boats, a sounder, the Morse alphabet apparatus, navigation instruments, which will be presented as a part of the all-camp Festival of projects to other participants.
