Representatives of the military clergy of the Simferopol and Crimean diocese visit the Khersones sailing boat

As part of the celebration of the Day of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the military clergy of the Simferopol and Crimean diocese visited the Khersones sailing boat in Sevastopol. The event was led by the director of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Crimean Branch Andrei Filchakov.

During the visit of the clergy, the events and classes for cadets undergoing maritime practice on the Khersones sailing boat were agreed upon.

For the blessing of the entire crew of the sailing boat and the cadets who are now undergoing and will continue to undergo maritime practice on the vessel, a particle of the relics of the Holy Righteous Warrior Theodore (Ushakov) was transferred in addition to the icon on board the frigate.

On behalf of the military clergy, Archpriest Dmitry Krotkov, the chairman of the military department of the Simferopol and Crimean diocese, thanked the Director of the Crimean Branch Andrei Filchakov and the crew of the Khersones sailing boat.
