Pilots of FSUE "Rosmorport" provided safe pilotage for gas tankers arriving from the Russian Arctic to the LNG transshipment complex

As part of the transshipment of liquefied natural gas under the vessel-to-vessel scheme on the territory of Russia in the Kilda Strait of the Barents Sea, the pilots of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Murmansk Branch provided piloting and buoy mooring of the Yenisei River (pilots of the I category Ivan Ordin, Andrei Lapshin and Vladlen Alpero), the Vladimir Vize (pilot of the I category Andrei Polyakov) and the Nikolay Zubov (pilots of the I category Oleg Lyashenko and Alexander Georgiev) gas tankers on the territory of the temporary mooring transshipment complex (TMTC "Kildin Vostochny").

In January, two LNG transshipment operations were carried out similarly. The complex where the transshipment operation took place was built in order to ensure year-round refueling of LNG from reinforced ice-class tankers arriving from the Russian Arctic.

Previously, a similar operation of docking the Nikolay Yevgenov and the Yamal Spirit gas tankers already took place at this TMTC in order to carry out the first transshipment of liquefied natural gas on the territory of Russia under the vessel-to-vessel scheme, which safety was also ensured by pilots of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Murmansk Branch.

Since the beginning of 2021, specialists of the pilot service of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Murmansk Branch successfully provided pilotage services for the CAPESIZE bulk carriers with deadweight up to 180,000 tons, namely the Maran Vision (pilot of the I category Yuri Grischuk), the Lady Deena (pilots of the I category Vladimir Fediov, Sergey Osipov and Andrei Nikitin) and the Jewel (pilot of the I category Igor Nikulin). On January 27, the pilot of the I category of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Murmansk Branch Vladimir Dyadyk provided docking for the Yuri Arshenevsky motor vessel.
