FSUE "Rosmorport" revenue from port dues in January-August decreased by 6% in relation to the previous year

In January-August 2020, the revenue of FSUE "Rosmorport" from the port fees decreased by 0.9 billion rubles (-6%) compared to the same period of the previous year, to 13.3 billion rubles.

At the same time, revenue from port dues in August compared to August 2019 decreased by 210 million rubles (12%), to 1.5 billion rubles, and the company's total revenue in August compared to last year decreased by 0.13 billion rubles (-6%), to 2.18 billion rubles.

The number of vessels serviced in 8 months of 2020 decreased by 3%, to 87.9 thousand units compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the calls of foreign vessels decreased by 6%, to 45.96 thousand units, and calls in cabotage remained at the level of 8 months of 2019, at 41.98 thousand units. This is mainly due to a decrease by 8% (-23.9 million tons) in the turnover of liquid cargo through the seaports of Novorossiysk, Murmansk, Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Tuapse, the absence of calls of passenger cruise ships at the seaport Passenger Port of St. Petersburg, a decrease in the number of vessels calling at the seaports of Nakhodka, Vostochny, Vladivostok and Kaliningrad for bunkering.

The number of vessels serviced in August 2020 as compared to August 2019 decreased to 15.2 thousand units (-1%), including foreign vessels, the share of which in terms of revenue from port dues is 95%, by 8%, to 6.54 thousand units. The growth in the number of coasters was 7%, up to 8.64 thousand units. The negative dynamics of the indicator in August was influenced by a decrease in cargo turnover in the seaports of the Big Port of St. Petersburg, Novorossiysk and Primorsk, a decrease in the number of vessels calling at the seaports of Nakhodka and Vladivostok for bunkering, as well as the absence of sea cruise shipping.
