“The project will provide, among other things, conditions for reorientation of domestic goods traffic from the Baltic States and Finland,” said Andrey Lavrishchev, General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport”.

“The implementation of the LUGAPORT project will create one of the most modern multi-purpose terminals in the North-West of Russia, handling a wide range of export cargo.  The signed agreement regulates the procedure for interaction between FSUE “Rosmorport” and “Novotrans” holding, which will allow us to start construction of the terminal facilities efficiently and within the planned time,” said Konstantin Goncharov.

The facility is scheduled to become operational by the end of 2024.
