FSUE “Rosmorport” fleet replenished by new vessels

Four tugs of Arc4 Ice Class have been built by order of FSUE “Rosmorport” and delivered to the seaport of Vladivostok. The new vessels are equipped with two azimuth pod drives, which provide them with high level of maneuverability. The vessels were launched on June 9, 2020.

Upon completion of loading and unloading operations in respect of the new tugs, necessary measures will be taken to receive them, file ship’s papers and certificates, as well as other documents issued by the classification society – Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

Three vessels – the Yemar, the Sukhodol and the Askold will be included in the balance sheet of the Far Eastern Basin Branch. The Truzhenik tug will be received by the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vanino Branch.

At present, a total of 269 vessels are in the balance sheet of FSUE “Rosmorport”. The enterprise’s fleet continues to be renovated. This January the Tolbukhin tug, which is conformable to technical performance of the new Truzhenik tug, was included in the balance sheet of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch.

Key particulars of the vessels:

The Yemar, the Sukhodol and the Truzhenik are equipped with two main propulsion units with total power of over 5,000 HP (29.84 m in length; 10.43 m in breadth; about 56 tons in towing force). The Askold tug (26.45 m in length; 9.54 m in breadth; about 40 tons in towing force) has propulsion units with total power of 3,500 HP.
