An awarding ceremony to name laureates of the V PRIORITY-2019 national prize was held at the Big Hall of the Russian Public Chamber on November 28, 2019. This prestigious award has been given to the country’s best enterprises that achieved success in the field of import substitution.

Members of the prize’s expert and industrial council determined the fate of participants in the contest. The selection of nominees involving over 500 participants for three tours preceded this. Only 170 companies had an opportunity to take part in the competition.

FSUE “Rosmorport” actively contributes to localizing special shipbuilding in Russia and restoring home shipbuilding competences, including a subsidiary company – the Onego Shipyard. This allowed FSUE “Rosmorport” to win in nomination of “LOCALIZATION” for the successful implementation of the Yuri Maslyukov dredger project with the capacity of the hold of 2,000 cubic meters (Project TSHD2000).

This modern, powerful and efficient dredger is a synthesis of new technical solutions and experience of the operation of newly built dredgers. A solemn ceremony to put afloat the dredger was held at the Onego Shipyard in August 2019. At present, the work is underway to finish building the dredger. Pre-commissioning procedures of mechanisms and equipment, docking and sea trials continue.

Earlier, vessels of the analogical project are built by order of FSUE “Rosmorport” at foreign shipyards. Yuri Maslyukov was the first vessel of such type that has been built by Russian shipbuilders.

The dredger will reinforce the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk Branch fleet to maintain ordered navigational depths and ensure safe navigation. The vessel will withstand severe weather conditions of the northern region – in the water area and on the approaches toward the seaport of Arkhangelsk. It is planned to use it in the seaport of Kaliningrad during the autumn and winter period.
