Regulations on peculiarities of working and rest time of sea pilots and candidates in sea pilots

Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation Order №61 of March, 14 2012 "On Regulations on peculiarities of working and rest time of sea pilots and candidates in sea pilots statement" became operative on May, 8 2012.

Thid document was developed and published in in accordance with the article №329 of the Russian Federation Labour Code. It states peculiarities of working and rest time of sea pilots (with pilotage certificates on the pilotage rights in certain areas issued by sea port captains) and candidates in sea pilots.

Peculiarities of working and rest time stated in the Regulations are obligatory to execute for all legal entities, regardless of their organizational structure and pattern of ownership, and individual entrepreneurs engaged in pilotage.

At this moment FSUE "Rosmorport" provides pilotage services in 44 sea ports of Russian Federation. Total amount of piloting subdivisions employees exceeds 600 people. In 2011 FSUE "Rosmorport" provided more than 102,000 pilotage operations.
