By the decision of the Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport, today, 31.12.2010 due to the emergency in the Southwest part of the Sea of Okhotsk, Sakhalin Gulf, where fishing ships were stuck in the ice, FSUE “Rosmorport” takes its part in the rescue operation. The enterprise “Magadan” icebreaker will be used for icebreaking pilotage of rescue ships to the region of emergency.

“Magadan” icebreaker was leased by FSUE “Rosmorport” from the Fareast Shipping Company for icebreaking pilotage of ships entering and leaving the seaport of Magadan.
