Recommendations for actions of ship-owners/companies-operators of vessels after receiving of alarm signals from ship to coast are confirmed

According to requirements of the Governmental order of the Russian Federation from November, 3rd, 2007 № 746 “About Realization of Provisions of Chapter XI-2 of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 and International Ship and Port Facility Security Code” and to execute the Order of Ministry of Transport of Russia from July, 10th, 2009 № 115 “About the Approval of the Procedure of Receiving of Alarm Signals from Ship to Coast (“ship – coast”)” by the order of Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport from March, 30th, 2010 № AD-53-r recommendations for actions of ship-owners/companies-operators of vessels after receiving of alarm signals from ship to coast (“ship – coast”) (hereinafter referred to as “Recommendations”) were approved.

The actions described in Recommendations, are applied concerning the vessels falling under the requirements of chapter XI-2 of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 and International Ship and Port Facility Security Code.

Performance of the actions provided by Recommendations specified above should be carried out by the officials of the company responsible for security appointed by the ship-owner/company-operator.
