On February, 8th, 2010 General director of FSUE “Rosmorport” I.M. Rusu, as a member of the governmental delegation with participation of the first deputy of Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation V.A. Zubkov, the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in Southern federal district V.V. Ustinov, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation I.E. Levitin, head of Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport A.A. Davydenko and other officials, took part in inauguration ceremony of grain crops transshipment complex in the seaport of Tuapse.

The inauguration ceremony was opened by celebratory meeting with participation of labor collective of OAO “Tuapse Sea Trading Port” and invited visitors. Start of the terminal by pressing of the symbolical button was made by Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation I.E. Levitin and chairman of board of directors of OJSC “Novolipetsk Steel” (the company is the basic shareholder of OAO “Tuapse Sea Trading Port”) V.S. Lisin.

The grain crops complex in the seaport of Tuapse occupies 1,34 hectares of territory of OAO “Tuapse Sea Trading Port”. Complex construction began in July, 2007. The total amount of investments into construction made up 1,8 billion rubles. Throughput of the terminal grain crops transshipment is 2,4 million tons a year, which fact allows considerably increase volumes of grain cargoes transshipment in the seaport of Tuapse.
