The orchestra of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch and the Maritime State University named after G.I. Nevelskoy (orchestra conductor Anatoly Yakimenko) has returned from a week-long tour around the Amur Region and Khabarovsk Krai.

The orchestra gave its first concert on June 13 in Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region. The sold-out concert was held at the site of the city's social and cultural center. The program with professional light and sound, perfectly performed by the orchestra team together with vocalists Vladimir Grinchenko, Mikhail Kogan and Yulia Uchaykina, was a real festive of music for residents of the Amur Region. Musicians from Vladivostok performed in Blagoveshchensk for the first time, so it was interesting for the audience to get acquainted with the art of a new band for them. After the concert, the audience greeted the orchestra and vocalists with a standing ovation and did not let them off the stage for a long time.

The very next day, announcing the upcoming professional holiday – the Day of Workers of the Maritime and River Fleet, the orchestra musicians performed a concert for employees, cadets and students of the Amur Branch of the Maritime State University named after G.I. Nevelskoy in Blagoveshchensk. During the concert, melodies about the sea, modern pop hits and rock compositions were performed. Cadets and students sang songs in chorus together with vocalists and orchestra.

The next point of the orchestra's tour was Khabarovsk. Unlike the residents of Blagoveshchensk, the audience of this city was already familiar with the art of the orchestra – the hall of the City Community Center was crowded. The audience warmly welcomed by the orchestra team.

On June 16, the tour continued in the village of Vanino. Vanino residents were looking forward to meeting with musicians and vocalists. The orchestra performed hits of the 90s in unusual arrangements.

On June 17, as part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of FSUE “Rosmorport” and on the eve of the Day of Workers of the Maritime and River Fleet, the orchestra provided musical accompaniment to the solemn ceremony of awarding employees of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Eastern Basin Branch. A song dedicated to the enterprise was among the compositions performed for the staff of the branch. This musical piece will also be performed in Vladivostok on June 29 at the solemn event of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch.

The tour ended in the city of Sovetskaya Gavan. The program of the final concert included the most popular songs of the 90s. At the end of the performance, Head of the Sovetsko-Gavansky municipal district thanked the orchestra for the emotions the citizens got during the concert.

During six days of the tour, the musicians of the orchestra gave six concerts, which were attended by almost four thousand spectators. The band plans to hold annual concerts in the Far Eastern Federal District and beyond. In autumn, the orchestra's musicians are planning new tours in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
