The orchestra of the Far Eastern Basin Branch performs the premiere concert program

The pop orchestra of the Far Eastern Basin Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport” and the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoy (orchestra conductor Anatoly Yakimenko) presented the premiere of the concert program “We are from the USSR” on the stage of the concert hall of the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoy on October 30, 2022.

The concert was attended by vocalists Raisa Bilim, Dmitry Gorovoy and Alexander Pstyga. The program featured well-known and beloved songs of the Soviet era.

Veterans of the marine industry, employees of the Far Eastern Basin Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport” and the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoy, as well as Chairman of the Duma of the City of Vladivostok Andrey Brik and Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai Anna Aleko were invited to the concert.

During the ceremonial part of the concert program, orchestra conductor Anatoly Yakimenko was awarded with a Certificate of Honor by the Vladivostok City Duma, and orchestra artists Rodion Racheev, Oleg Pakhomov, Sergei Nechepurenko and Peter Yakunin were awarded with Gratitudes by the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai.

Nevelskoy will perform on the central square of Vladivostok with a patriotic concert to celebrate the National Unity Day, and on November 13, 2022 will present a concert program dedicated to the great singer and composer Muslim Magomayev.
