On July 27, 2022, the start of one of the stages of the relay race of the VII International Sports Games "Children of Asia" took place in Vladivostok on board Nadezhda sailing boat.

The event was attended by the crew and cadets of the Moscow State University named after Adm. G.I. Nevelsky, who are currently practicing on the vessel.

The musical accompaniment of the event was provided by the orchestra of the Far Eastern Basin Branch of FSUE "Rosmorport".

Torchbearers lit the Flame of the Games, carried it around the vessel and handed it to a swimmer who made a symbolic swim with a torch in the waters of the Vladivostok seaport.
