The orchestra of the Far Eastern Basin Branch congratulates residents and guests of the capital of the Far East on the Russia Day

On June 12, 2022, the Russia Day, the orchestra of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch and Maritime State University named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoy (directed by orchestra conductor Anatoly Yakimenko) congratulated residents and guests of the capital of the Far East with a concert program on the central square of Vladivostok.

Favorite songs of several generations of Russians were performed at the open-air stage in the Vladivostok main square. The festive atmosphere of the concert was set by the cheering march “Triumph of Winners” played by the orchestra. The optimistic theme continued with the soundtrack from the movie “Walking the Streets of Moscow”, familiar to every Russian, and “Amur Waves ", the favorite waltz of the Primorye residents, which was created by composer Max Kyuss in Vladivostok. The orchestral rendition of the melodies “In the City Garden" and the soundtrack from the movie "Long Road in the Dunes" reminded the audience of the post-war years.

Dmitry Gorovoy, Honoured Artist of Russia, and Yevgeny Mizin, as well as vocalist Raisa Bilim, widely known in Primorye, participated in the event and got a warm welcome. They performed “I Love You, Russia”, “Blue Eternity”, “The Pre-war Waltz”, “Oh, How I Was in Love”, “The Little Blue Kerchief”, “Why Is My Heart So Restless” and other songs the citizens of Vladivostok love so much.

At the end of the concert, singers and spectators performed the song “Everything I Have in Life” together.
