Employees of the Far Eastern Basin Branch take part in the elimination of the consequences of “Maysak” and “Haishen” typhoons

Two powerful typhoons "Maysak" and "Haishen" hit Primorye at once in the period from 3 to 8 September 2020.

Typhoons brought to Vladivostok and Primorsky Krai not only strong winds reaching 40 meters per second, but also heavy precipitation, which caused heavy rain flows. As a result of their falling into the waters of the Zolotoi Rog (Golden Horn) Bay, the latter was heavily polluted with floating debris.

On September 18, 2020, employees of the Far Eastern Basin Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport” went out to eliminate the consequences of the Typhoon, cleaning the water area of the Golden Horn Bay and the surface of hydraulic structures in the seaport of Vladivostok.

More than 13 cubic meters of garbage were collected by the branch's forces and technical means. All collected waste was transferred to specialized licensed organizations for disposal.
