Far Eastern Basin Branch News

Boundaries of the seaport of Vostochny changed

Under Russian Government Directive No. 1222-r of May 07, 2020, changes have been introduced to the boundaries of the seaport of Vostochny.

The corrections are conditioned by specifying the boundaries of the seaport’s area due to the changes which have been made to the boundaries of Ground Area No. 2 and Ground Area No. 9 of the seaport of Vostochny.

The area of Ground Area No. 2 of the seaport increased by including two plots of land with the total area of 17.4 hectares. These plots of land have been substracted from an artificially created plot of land on a water facility designed for placing sections of the third stage facility of the coal-loading complex in the seaport of Vostochny. The complex with the designed power of 16.5 million tons per year on Ground Area No. 2 consists of outdoor coal storages, car dumpers, defrosting systems, lifters and homer stations, auxiliary buildings and constructions, sewage works and amenity buildings.

Moreover, the Southern Coastal Protection hydraulic structure of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch is located on Ground Area No. 2 of the seaport. The hydraulic structure is designed for protecting the territory of the coal complex from wave action, as well as the inner harbor and the adjacent territory from coal dust, collecting surface storm waters from the territory of the coal complex, purifying them and discharging them to the water area of the Wrangel Bay.

The Far Eastern Basin Branch submits this above-said facility for rent to all interested organizations. More information on this facility, as well as on other property units, which are submitted by the Far Eastern Basin Branch for rent, can be available in the section “Property Lease of the Far Eastern Basin Branch”.

For its turn, the space of Ground Area No. 9 of the seaport of Vostochny increased by including a ground area with an area of 702 square meters on which the Russian checkpoint has been now deployed.

For reference: the Far Eastern Basin Branch has 22 plots of land with the total area of 17.4 hectares within the boundaries of the territory of the seaport of Vostochny.
