Data on the seaport of Nakhodka in the Register of Russian Seaports changed
Pursuant to Rosmorrechflot Resolution No. ZD-541-r of December 18, 2019 changes have been made to data on the seaport of Nakhodka in the Register of Russian Seaports.
The corrections are linked with decreasing the number of berths and the length of the berth wall respectively in the seaport of Nakhodka due to the retirement from service of Berths No. 16, 18 and 25 of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch and excluding the branch from operators of sea terminals.
In addition, the register specifies the names of separate operators of sea terminals that carry out their activities in the seaport of Nakhodka.
Earlier, in July 2019 under Rosmorrechflot Order No. ZD-281-r of July 1, 2019 the changes were made to data on the seaport of Nakhodka in the Register of Russian Seaports.
The changes were related to specifying the length of the berth wall and the capacity of cargo terminals, as well as the total length of vessels, which can put call at the seaport of Nakhodka, of up to 250 meters. This was possible due to making additional calculations, which base grounds for the call of vessels of the Balker type of up to 250 meters in length, up to 35 meters in breadth and 8.4 meters in load draught in the seaport of Nakhodka at Berth No. 68 and Berth No. 69.
The FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch has 27 berths in the seaport of Nakhodka that amounts 20.3% of the total number of berths in the seaport. The length of the berth wall of the enterprise’s berths is over five kilometers that amounts 26.4% of the total length of the berth wall in the seaport of Nakhodka.
According to the results of 2019 a total of 17.1 million tons of cargoes that amounts 70.5% of total transshipment in the seaport of Nakhodka has been transshipped on 24 berths, which have been rented out to operators of sea terminals subject to the normal due process.
The branch uses one berth for its own needs out of the remaining four berths and three berths have been retired from service.
