Permanent multilateral cargo-passenger Russian border checkpoint limits approved in the seaport of Nakhodka

Pursuant to Russia’s Transport Ministry Order No. 392 of October 31, 2018 a permanent multilateral cargo-passenger Russian border checkpoint limits have been approved in the seaport of Nakhodka.

23 berths of the Eastern Directorate of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch are located in the seaport of Nakhodka within the established limits of the checkpoint that is equal to 85.2% of the total number of the branch’s berths in the seaport.

In 2018 a total of 15.8 million tons of cargoes have been transshipped on the berths of the branch within the limits of the checkpoint in the seaport of Nakhodka that have been leased out to operators of sea terminals. This year’s figure was 0.6% higher than that of the previous year. Over 13.7 million tons of cargoes have been shipped for export from berths of the Eastern Directorate of the Far Eastern Basin Branch. This figure was 0.1% higher than the total amount of the year 2018. A total of 36,000 tons of import cargoes have been handled. The remaining cargoes transshipped on vessels through berths of the branch have been set off for coastwise voyage.
