Aids to navigation in the seaport of Olga transferred to the Far Eastern Basin Branch

Pursuant to Resolution No. 182 of October 1, 2018 taken by Russia’s Federal Agency for Property Management Territorial Division in Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region aids to navigation in the seaport of Olga have been assigned to FSUE “Rosmorport” on the basis of the right of economic management and under FSUE “Rosmorport” Order No. 487 of October 08, 2018 they have been placed to the Far Eastern Basin Branch under economic management.

In particular, the branch has been given the Astashev sea mark located on Cape Astashev in the north of Plastun Bay and designed for identifying the coastal line and defining a vessel’s position on the approach toward the Plastun Bay while moving to the berths of the Plastun sea terminal in the seaport of Olga.

The branch has been also given the Tatarinov marine light located in the seaport of Olga and designed for orienting vessels on the approach toward berths of the seaport of Olga.

Simultaneously the branch has been given the front and rear range markers of Plastun Bay designed for identifying a line to enter to the Plastun Bay for vessels moving to berths of the sea terminal of Plastun in the seaport of Olga.

Earlier, these facilities were used by Russia’s Defense Ministry Hydrographic Service and at the time of handing over they were in satisfactory condition.
