Students of Russian higher educational institutions visited the Nadezhda sailing ship of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch on September 12, 2019. The students took part in the 2^nd Russian competitions “AquaRoboTech 2019” in Vladivostok at the premises of Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University.

Alexander Tsymbal, ship mate for training, conducted a fascinating excursion for the guests of the vessel. The students were made aware of the sailing ship’s construction and key particulars of sailing navigation. They saw the premises of the sailing ship and heard many interesting stories about round-the-world cruises, participations in sailing regattas and peculiar features of the life of the cadets, who underwent training aboard sailing ships.

This year the Nadezhda sailing ship has taken part in the 20^th International Nagasaki Tall Ships Festival and worthy decorated the holiday.

The sailing ship is an experienced participant in many regattas. Last year the Nadezhda frigate came first in the first race of SCF Far Eastern Tall Ships Regatta 2018 in Class A and overall ranking. It also won in Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta 2014.
