Director of the Far Eastern Basin Branch Viktor Vanyukov and chief of the navigational and hydrographic support department of the Navigation Directorate Igor Dolinin took part in the 2^nd preparatory diplomatic conference on reforming the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities as members of the Russian delegation in Marrakesh (Morocco) on February 7-8, 2018.

The Russian delegation also included officers of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Department of Navigation and Ocean Development of the Russian Defense Ministry and FSUE “Hydraugraphic Enterprise”.

The conference focused on the draft convention of the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities due to the planned change of its status to an inter-governmental organization.
