On December 19, Kapitan Khlebnikov icebreaker of the Far Eastern Basin Branch has left the seaport of registration Vladivostok and set a course for Okhotsk Sea.

The icebreaker will perform ice escorts in/from the seaport of Magadan during winter navigation until the middle of May, 2017.

Currently, ice condition on Tauyskaya Guba and Nagayev Bay permits transport vessels with ice class L2 and above to move without support.

Icebreaker’s arrival in the roadstead of the seaport of Magadan is expected on 24th of December.
