By order No. 751-R of the Government of Russia dated April 22, 2016 the boundaries of the Vostochny seaport have been updated.

The update is related to the adjustment of boundaries of site No. 2 of the Vostochny seaport due to the inclusion of land plots with the  production facilities, port warehouses, handling equipment, and crushing and screening plants used in the coal handling technological process at berths No. 33, 34 and 35 at the seaport.

The Far Eastern Basin Branch uses 23 land plots at the Vostochny seaport  with a total area of 18.8 hectares, which is 4.7 % of the total area of the seaport.
