By order № SG-224-r of Rosmorrechflot dated June 25, 2015 the information on the seaport of Vladivostok in the Register of seaports of the Russian Federation has been amended.

Amendments are related to the revision of the main technical characteristics of the seaport of Vladivostok: number of berths, length of the seaport berthing front,  throughput of freight terminals, area of open and covered warehouses, volume of petroleum products storage tanks. In particular, the register has been supplemented by information on 5 berths in the seaport of Vladivostok, including four berths located on Russky Island, which are operated by the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch. Currently, competitive procedures on transfer of three of four berths on Russky Island for lease to interested organizations  have been completed. The results of the open competition for the right to enter into a lease contract of the said berths were summed up by the enterprise on July 28, 2015.

Also, changes in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation have been made to the names and addresses of other seaport operators, operating in the seaport of Vladivostok, as well as the name of the Vladivostok Seaport Administration, functions of which are now performed by the Vladivostok Branch of FSBI “The Administration of the Primorsky Krai seaports”.

The economic management of the Far Eastern Basin Branch in the seaport of Vladivostok covers 23 berths, which is 35,9% of the total number of berths in the seaport. The majority of the Branch berths have been transferred for lease to sea terminals operators in the prescribed order. The total quay wall length of the berths is 4,3 km, which is 33,5% of the total quay wall length of all berths in the seaport of Vladivostok.

According to the results for 6 months of 2015 in the seaport of Vladivostok over 6.2 million tonnes of cargo were handled, which is 23% less than in the same period in the previous year. On the berths of the Far Eastern Basin Branch in the seaport of Vladivostok for the first half of this year over 2.6 million tonnes of cargo were handled, which is 42% of the total volume of cargo handling in the seaport of Vladivostok.
