On the 12th of December, 2010 Deputy Premier of the Russian Government I.I. Shuvalov and Primorye Territory Governor S.M. Darkin visited “Georg Ots” cargo and passenger ferry. Deputy heads of the Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport I.E. Zakharov, S.P. Gorelik, FSUE “Rosmorport” Vladivostok branch acting director A.I. Novichkov, the seaport of Vladivostok captain A.I. Kuvshinov, heads of marine transport companies of the region took part in the visit also.

The delegation visited the bridge, cabins, restaurant and cargo deck of the ferry, examines the ferry specifications. Various ways of the ferry use were discussed during the visit, including regular voyages between the seaports of Far East, Japan and South Korea.
