The Youth Council of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Eastern Basin Branch took part in the first family educational festival “The Mystery of the Four Elements” and presented its platform called “Water World”.

The festival was held on August 17, 2024 in the Mayak Park for Recreation and Leisure of the city of Magadan. The organizer of the festival is the Magadan City Public Organization for Youth Work “Youth Meridian” with the support of the Mayor's Office of Magadan and the Presidential Grants Fund within the framework of the project “Towards the Anniversary of the City”.

The event featured 37 informative interactive areas on the theme of the four elements (Earth, Air, Water, Fire). The visitors were able to make a virtual parachute jump, go on excursion “Sea, sea, sound of waves”, see an exhibition of aircraft and vessel models, exchange books, take master classes, participate in intellectual games, listen to lectures and songs performed by vocalists of the city. The festival aims to promote the development of skills of caring attitude and respect for the outside world, formation of ecological culture and understanding of the importance of preserving natural resources.

Members of the Youth Council of the North-Eastern Basin Branch held a master class on making decorative pendants of shells, ribbons, beads, wood and other elements, and also presented a catalog of freshwater and marine fish of the Magadan region prepared by employees of the laboratory of ichthyology of the Institute of Biological Problems of the North of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
