New boundaries of the Russian state border in the seaport of Nikolaevsk-on-Amur established

Under Russian Ministry of Transport Order No. 443 of December 15, 2021, new boundaries of the cargo and passenger seasonal multiway Russian state border sea checkpoint in the seaport of Nikolaevsk-on-Amur have been approved.

The decision to change the checkpoint boundaries in the seaport of Nikolaevsk-on-Amur was made in order to optimize technological processes of inspection activities on carrying out established procedures of border control.

There are two berths - No. 7 and No. 8 - of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Vanino Branch within the boundaries of the checkpoint which have been leased to the marine terminal operator in accordance with the established procedure.

For the full year, the operator of the marine terminal has transshipped 14.8 thousand tons of timber and packaged cargo at these berths.

Altogether, 43 thousand tons of cargoes were handled at the berths of the Vanino Branch of FSUE "Rosmorport" in 2021, which is 100 % of the total volume of transshipment in the seaport of Nikolaevsk-on-Amur.
