Solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of the Russian Federation and the rite of consecration of new working ice-class boats Anatoly Klimov and Victor Vorotylo took place in the seaport of Vanino
On September 09, 2020 the seaport of Vanino hosted a solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of the Russian Federation and a rite of consecration of new working ice-class boats Anatoly Klimov and Victor Vorotylo, which joined the fleet of Vanino Branch of FSUE "Rosmorport".
The event was attended by the management and employees of the Vanino Branch of FSUE "Rosmorport", representatives of the FSBI "ILA of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Strait of Tatarstan", Vanino section of the Khabarovsk Branch of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and stevedoring companies.
The honored guests of the event were the wife and son of Klimov Anatoly Georgievich - an honored worker of the Navy, a veteran of labor, who for many years headed the Vanino Branch of FSUE "Rosmorport", whose name is given to one of the working boats.
Anatoly Litvinenko, Deputy Director for Maritime safety of Vanino Branch, gave the command to raise flags on working boats, and Russian flags flew over them to the National anthem of the Russian Federation.
In the final part of the ceremony, after welcoming words and congratulations to the participants of the event, Father Vyacheslav blessed the crews of the new vessels for trouble-free work and long service, presented captains of ships with the icon of St. Nicholas, the patron Saint of all travelers, as well as performed the rite of consecration of each vessel.
New working boats built by order of FSUE "Rosmorport" arrived at the sea port of Vanino on August 31, 2020 and have now passed all the acceptance tests, and all the necessary permits have been issued for them.
Vanino Branch plans to use working boats Anatoly Klimov and Victor Vorotylo in the seaports of Vanino and Sovetskaya Gavan to deliver pilots of the Branch to ships, as well as for traveling purposes.
