Radio center in the seaport of Okhotsk given to the Vanino Branch

Under Resolution No 1346 of October 30, 2017 issued by Russian Federal Agency for State Property Management Territorial Administration in Moscow, a radio center and NAVNEX equipment have been assigned to the enterprise on the basis of the right of economic management. The facilities have been transferred under the Vanino Branch management pursuant to FSUE “Rosmorport” Order No 493 of November 21, 2017.

The radio center and NAVTEX equipment located in the seaport of Okhotsk are designed for and will be used by the Vanino Branch to transmit navigational and hydrometeorological information to vessels in the Okhotsk Sea, as well as for transmitting distress and urgency calls.

The NAVTEX station is equipped with two transmitters with the capacity of 1 kW that transmit navigational messages on a frequency of 518 KHz.

The area of the radio center is up to 400 nautical miles.

The radio center was built in 1993 and was earlier used by FSBI “The Fishing and Communications Monitoring System Center”.

At the time of its transfer to the Vanino Branch the property complex was in satisfactory working condition.
