Changes in Compulsory Regulations in the Seaport of De-Kastri

By Mintrans of Russia Order No. 300 dated 10.26.2016 Сompulsory Regulations in the seaport of De-Kastri, approved by Mintrans of Russia Order No. 75 dated 22.03.2012 were amended.

Adjustments are related to the inclusion in the compulsory regulations of information on approaches to the seaport of De-Kastri, located in the Tatar Strait, which are intended to improve the safety of navigation and the regulation of navigation in these areas in accordance with the requirements of Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of De-Kastri.

The Order of the Ministry of Transport introduced additional exceptions in the list of vessels that are exempt from the mandatory provision of towage in the seaport, as well as established new requirements for the minimum number and power of tugs during mooring operations at the seaport of De-Kastri.

In addition, changes in the compulsory regulations concerned peculiarities of transit passage of ships through the waters of the seaport of De-Kastri for proceeding to the Amur estuary and backwards.
