Changes in the Compulsory Regulations in the Seaport of Vanino

Ministry of Transport Order No.139 dated 30.05.2016 introduced changes to the Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Vanino.

Amendments are related to including to the Compulsory Regulations of information on approaches to the seaport of Vanino, situated near the Tatar Strait and coincide with the boundaries of the seaport of Vanino VTS coverage area.

Approaches to the seaport of Vanino are intended for enhancing navigation safety and traffic control on the specified sections in accordance with the Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Vanino requirements.

In addition to the above motioned amendments, requirements to the procedure of conduction of mooring operations at western and eastern quay walls of pier No. 5 in the seaport of Vanino were changed. These changes are related to removal of the previous restrictions for length of the mooring vessels at night time, due to the increase in the number of tugboats in the seaport and the installation of additional lighting and laser systems of mooring of large vessels to the pier.

The Ministry of Transport Order came into force on July 8, 2016.
