By Government of Russia Regulation dated 29.01.2015 No. 117-r the Okhotsk Seaport boundaries were established.

Earlier by Rosmorrechflot Regulation dated 25.07.2014 No. KS-285-r information on Okhotsk Seaport was included into the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation under the registration ordinal number T-22.
