On 22 April 2014 the awards ceremony of the annual district labour safety management competition - 2013 was held in the administration of the Vanino municipal district.

The competition is conducted every year by the administration of the Vanino municipal district among industrial, non-industrial and social organizations, as well as small business entities. The main tasks of the competition are to decrease production injuries, to improve labour conditions and labor safety, and to increase employers’ commitment to creation of safe labour conditions.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” Vanino Branch took the first prize in the competition among non-industrial organizations.

Head of the administration of the Vanino municipal district, N.S. Ozharovsky solemnly presented an honours certificate and prize 7 thousand roubles to the Vanino Branch director, L.Y. Terebizh.

The Vanino Branch has participated in the competition several times and again proved its high level of labour safety management. Within the past five years there have been no injuries and professional diseases in the branch. The employees are provided with necessary protective clothing, shoes and other individual protective gears. The branch has conducted assessment of all working places and regularly conducts training and labour safety knowledge assessment of its employees. The labor safety measures taken by the Vanino Branch guarantee further prevention of production injuries in the branch.
